Two weeks ago, I got some information about a funny widget -- Shredder from Appleseed's blog article. Shredder is very useful. It can be used to select single file and delete that. If you have security concern for file-deleting, it also can be used to fill zero after deleting. Finally, there is a cute shredder animation when it's deleting files, so it also entertains end users very much.
But ..... If you knew me, you'd know I dislike widgets duo to Dashboard. When you launch Dashboard, All widgets will accompany it to run and keep working even though Dashboard are quit then. That really wastes the memories and resources of OS and it's not easy to kill all processes for widgets and Dashboard. So I developed this small tool to do the similar thing for simplifying the deleting work, and the special point is that it compensates for a weakness of Mac OSX -- you can't select single file in Trash can to delete !!
This application is available for Intel and PPC Mac, and its system requirement is Mac OSX 10.2 later. Although the user manual is attached in the dmg file, if you have any problems about this application, please get in touch with me, any suggestions will be appreciated !

兩週前，我看到一篇 Appleseed 的網誌，介紹一個有趣的 widget -- Shredder 數位碎紙機，它可以把單一檔案完整刪除，而且有安全性的疑慮時還可以填零刪除，最後再配上碎紙機的可愛動畫，整個就是很討喜。
但是認識我的人都知道我不喜歡用 widget :P 原因無他，因為一啟動就會把全部 widget 加入常駐，要關掉還頗煩人的。所以我寫了這個小軟體，讓刪除檔案的過程可以簡化一些，重要的是它補足了 Mac OSX 預設不能選擇性刪除垃圾桶中檔案的缺陷。
系統需求 Mac OSX 10.2 以上，為 Universal Binary 程式，使用手冊已附在檔案中，有問題請通知我。 <(_ _)>

1. Drag items onto Gone directly.
2. Launch Gone after selecting items.

20101113 Gone 0.2 : fix the bug which deletes Gone itself by launching Gone directly without any items selected.
